Orlando, Sara Kathryne (nee Brummell)
After a tremendous fight with cancer for nine years and surrounded by her family, Sara left us on Thursday September 10, 2015 peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus in her 46th year. Beloved wife of Vince. Best friend and mother of Ryan Maedel (Jessica). Loving stepmother of James and the late Jeffery Orlando. Sara is also survived by her mother Diane Brummell (nee Reeve) and brother Craig Brummell (Debbie). Predeceased by her father Darryl Brummell (2014). Much loved aunt of Lauren and Carson Brummell, step grandmother of Alyssa Orlando and Sydney Simpson; daughter-in-law of Elisabetta and Tony Orlando; sister-in-law of Dina Craner (Brian); nephews Steven and Brandon; her uncle Arden Brummell (Susan); lifelong friend of Angie Wigle and will always be remembered by many other caring members of the Brummell and Orlando families. Born in Woodstock, Sara enjoyed many passions, including cooking, entertaining and laughing. She fought voraciously for every second of quality time on this earth. She was determined to live every day to its fullest and was an inspiration to all of us on how to maximize our lives.
